EuroShop 2026 once again confirmed its position as the world’s leading trade fair for the retail industry. With over 81,000 trade visitors from 141 countries and 1,840 exhibitors from 61 nations, it became clear just how international and forward-looking the sector is.
Part of our team was on site to experience the latest developments firsthand, engage in discussions with partners, and gather new ideas for upcoming projects.
Retail invests in efficiency and customer experience
The trade fair clearly showed where retail is heading: investments are being made specifically where increased efficiency and customer value go hand in hand. Key focus areas included:

- Flexible shopfitting and store design concepts
It was particularly evident that technology is increasingly becoming the strategic backbone of retail – from inventory management to shaping the overall shopping experience.

As part of EuroShop, StudioJDV presented the twelfth edition of the Concept Development Handbook – and IDEAL AKE is proud to be included in this publication.
This new volume provides valuable insights into the creative and strategic processes behind successful concepts in retail and gastronomy.
